Anonymous said: What helped you decide about the move cross country? I'm contemplating a move overseas to London, but am torn between my current life, which I love, and an exciting, almost once in a lifetime opportunity, that also involves a living a much more frugal lifestyle...
The only thing that helped me decide to move across the country was the opportunity itself. When it was offered, I didn’t even flinch. I danced. I threw my hands in the air. I could not wait to go on my next adventure because how often does once-in-a-lifetime show up on your doorstep?
I’ve always lived my life by a code of magic. I believe in luck, fate, hope, ghosts, dreams, fairytales, honor, serendipity, and the faith that if you want it bad enough, it will happen in ways you cannot predict.
My sails are always ready, my anchor always stowed. And though I found my harbor, I set sail again, because that’s what ships were meant to do.
I didn’t decide to move across the country - I simply couldn’t stop myself.
