Isn’t intelligence so sexy? It’s easy to see how people fall for their professors; power, intellect, and authority make for a dangerous elixir. It won’t come as a surprise to you that my advice is don’t act on it. Anything that risks compromising your development as a person is not worth it - that’s applicable in education, in your career, and when you have a family.
Finish your classes with this person. If you have a real connection, you can develop it when your class is over.
