In February of 2010, I made a passing complaint to my mother that I never met anyone. My mother, being astute and wise and tired of my shit said, “you meet tons of people, you just don’t like any of them.”
As it turns out, my mom was right.
This blog was originally a catalog of everyone who ever hit on me. Then it was an exploration of people I dated. Then it slowly evolved to the beast it is today, a place for soul-searching, empowerment, friendship, feminism, outfits, outbursts, and all the bold moves a person can muster.
Over the course of the blog, I moved from DC to New York to Boulder and then onto my current home, sunny LA. I’ve been lucky enough to fall in love more than once, and have my heart broken just as many times. And after four years of DateByNumbers, I found my true love: writing.
And check out the Best of DateByNumbers.
